This formative assessment is part of the SGH Postgraduate Training Internal Medicine Program and aims to evaluate residents’ medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and ability to apply evidence-based principles in real-world scenarios.

The assessment includes a wide range of internal medicine topics, covering cardiology, critical care, emergency presentations, pharmacotherapy, diagnostic interpretation, and management planning. It is designed to help trainees identify strengths, recognize gaps in understanding, and receive targeted feedback that supports continuous improvement throughout the training cycle.
