This multidisciplinary orientation program introduces residents to the core principles that shape safe, ethical, and high-quality healthcare delivery. It brings together foundational topics including bioethics and professionalism, patient rights, infection control, medication safety, modern models of care, and healthcare quality improvement
Residents also explore the CanMEDS competency framework, clinical coding standards, and the ethics of virtual care, ensuring alignment with current clinical practices and digital healthcare evolution. A dedicated module on fire safety and evacuation reinforces awareness of hospital emergency protocols and readiness
Throughout the program, participants are guided by the Saudi German Health (SGH) internal policies, standard operating procedures, and institutional code of conduct, fostering accountability, integrity, and respect.
