Course Description

This 3 CME-accredited online course (via Zoom) will be held on 6 April 2026 from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm KSA time.

The course provides a comprehensive overview of prehospital trauma assessment and management using a patient-journey approach. Participants will explore trauma care from roadside life-saving interventions through transport, hospital transition, and rehabilitation.

The program emphasizes systematic trauma assessment, clinical decision-making, effective communication and handover, and trauma system integration. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions, and multidisciplinary perspectives, participants will enhance their ability to deliver safe, evidence-based trauma care while understanding how early decisions influence long-term patient outcomes.

Dr. Ibrahim Althagafi

Assistant Professor in Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine, specializing in mass gathering health, disaster preparedness, and healthcare system resilience. Experienced in leading large-scale EMS operations during Hajj and contributing to international public health emergency response and research.

Dr. Naif Mohammad Harthi

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medical Services and Specialist Paramedic, holding a PhD in Population Health focused on trauma care and trauma systems.
