Python Applications for AI in Healthcare

This hands-on workshop is designed for healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, management, IT staff, and laboratory personnel. Over two Saturdays, participants will gain foundational knowledge and practical skills in Python programming and artificial intelligence applications in healthcare.

The workshop combines theory with real healthcare case studies to demonstrate how AI can improve clinical decision-making, disease prediction, and hospital system efficiency.

Participants will learn:

• Python programming fundamentals (syntax, variables, data types, functions)

• Data structures (lists, dictionaries) and control structures

• The importance of data visualization in healthcare

• Supervised vs. unsupervised machine learning

• AI model interpretation in clinical settings

• Neural network architecture basics

• Deep learning applications in medical imaging

• Real-world AI use cases in hospitals

• Comparison of TensorFlow and PyTorch

• Disease risk prediction (e.g., diabetes)

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to understand AI concepts, interpret healthcare AI models, visualize clinical data, and communicate AI strategies across departments.
